  • This information is to ensure that delegates and advisors have adequate information necessary to handle any medical emergencies that may happen. If there are any serious medical emergencies please call 911.

  • LAMUN XX will have basic first aid kits and medical equipment on hand. To locate first aid equipment either locate a member of the secretariat or make your way to the Delegate Services table (located at the Main Galeria) where a member of the secretariat will help you. If in committee and are not sure where to find a member of the secretariat or cannot locate the Delegate Services Table please let your Chair know and they will ensure that you can be in contact with a member of the secretariat.

  • LAMUN XX is not requiring delegates or staff to test for COVID-19 prior to this conference. Should delegates start to feel unwell, they are encouraged to wear a mask in and out of committee. Should delegates feel very unwell, they should inform their head delegate and should not attend committee sessions.

    If any delegates test positive for COVID-19 during the weekend, please contact a member of Secretariat right away so that we are able to provide accommodations for your delegate as well as ensure that precautions are taken to ensure the health and safety of others.

    Delegates, advisors, staff, and all other conference attendees are recommended, but not required to wear masks indoors. Please note that this policy is subject to change and any updates to this policy will be communicated on our website and via email. Throughout the conference, Delegate Services will have a supply of surgical masks available to all conference attendees should they need an upgraded mask at any point.

    LAMUN is fully committed to the health and safety of all conference attendees. However, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a contagious disease that may lead to a variety of symptoms, including coughing, fever, and/or severe illness. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, individuals with pre-existing medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By attending LAMUN, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

  • For prescriptions or other smaller medical needs, a CVS is located at a 10-15 minute walk from the Biltmore Hotel. The operating times for the store (which is inside a Target store) can be found on their website here and the address is at 735 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90017.
